My dear and darling friend,

It is about time you began thinking about yourself and your health, too!

Even though there are many, many miles between us, you are often in my thoughts. You have been such a fantastic friend to me (and still are); I will offer you whatever kind of encouragement you need or that I may think of. I miss our breaks / speed walks / quick talks around and around the building and inside the atrium during our careers at CSE.

I will sponsor you at 12 lbs. by walking briskly with you on the beach. This walk will have to occur sometime during August 9th - 12th. After our walk in the sand and surf, we will then have a wonderful, healthy meal on Clearwater Beach (my treat) at the restaurant of your choice! I will also sponsor you at 28 lbs. with a few pairs of new colorful socks! I realize that you live in FL, but what young, beautiful woman doesn't need some great wardrobe accessories?

Now, there is something that I want you to do for yourself.

Start a Positive Journal. Right now. Find a notebook. It doesn't have to be a fancy one, just a plain one from the Dollar Store or Target will do, but you must write in it everyday. Or you may even keep a "notebook" on the computer. Do not worry about spellings or punctuations.

Start out by writing/typing ten (10) Positive things that you like about yourself. Could be your fingernails, your ability to practice patience in difficult situations, the fact that you are a great listener... You understand? For example - I think you have a fantastic smile, you have an infectious laugh, you give marvelous hugs, you are honest ~ even when the truth might hurt (but that's a great quality for a friend to have in my opinion), you have a kind soul, you have 2 terrific children who love you tremendously, your husband absolutely adores you.

Remember, for every negative thought one must have seven (7) positive thoughts in order to cancel out those negatives.

You believe in yourself and you can do this.

I Love You Jenne,

XO,

Holly
